Montana State cruises past Sacramento State 71-55

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Christian Moon scored 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting including four 3-pointers and Montana State cruised to a 71-55 victory over Sacramento State in its regular season finale Saturday.

Montana State (13-16, 10-10 Big Sky) led 39-28 at halftime but the Hornets didn't go away easily, using a 15-3 run to begin the second half and took a 43-42 lead after a Jordan Salley dunk. Tied at 49 with 6:54 to play, Montana State outscored the Hornets 22-6 the rest of the way.

Flavien Davis had 14 points and Paul Egwuonwu scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Bobcats.
