Whack leads Mount St. Mary's past Bryant 75-69

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) Rashad Whack scored 19 points and Mount St. Mary's won its eighth straight game by rallying from an eight-point second-half deficit to defeat Bryant 75-69 Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference tournament.

The Mountaineers (17-13), seeded fifth, made 26 of 27 free throws, including 15 of 15 in the second half, while the Bulldogs were just 11 of 15.

No. 4-seeded Bryant led 36-28 with 19:07 remaining.
